How to disable Rootkit Scan- Kaspersky Internet Security 2014

The following steps are applicable to disable automatic Rootkit scanning in Kaspersky Internet Security/Anti-Virus 2014:

  1. Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 Console Window.
  2. In the lower part of the window, click the Settings link. (See below screenshot)

3. Under 'Computer resources' section, uncheck  the option 'Perform rootkit scan'. (See below screenshot)

4. Rootkit scanning is now disabled for Kaspersky Internet Security 2014.
