Configuring the Client Lock Screen
IT Admins can lock the client screens while performing maintenance or if PCs need to be unaccessible.
The Lock Screen function allows IT Administrators to prevent user interference during critical maintenance periods. This feature can be configured during the initial deployment or managed remotely via the EndPoint Manager (EPM) console.
Configuration During Installation
To enable the Lock Screen during a scheduled baseline update, use one of the following deployment methods:
-
Custom Setup: During the manual installation process, select Custom Install. This allows the administrator to toggle the option to lock the screen during scheduled maintenance.
-
Setup INI Wizard: For automated or mass deployments, use the Setup INI Wizard utility to include the Lock Screen setting within your custom installation package.
Remote Management via EndPoint Manager
Administrators can lock or unlock screens in real-time for a single workstation or a group of workstations directly from the console.

To Lock Screens:
-
Open the EndPoint Manager console.
-
Select the target workstation(s).
-
Navigate to: Clients > Advanced > Lock Screen.
-
The console will push the command immediately to the selected clients.
To Unlock Screens:
Return to the same menu (Clients > Advanced > Lock Screen) and select Unlock Client Screen.
Customizing the Lock Screen Message
Note: This feature is available exclusively for Reboot Restore Enterprise and RollBack Rx Pro.
