How To Disable Secure Boot
Applies to: RollBack Rx Pro, Reboot Restore
Even though our software is digitally signed with Microsoft Authenticode, some users may still need to disable Secure Boot to ensure a successful installation.
Since the process varies by computer manufacturer, follow these general steps:
1. Enter the BIOS/UEFI Settings
- Reboot your PC
- As the computer starts up, look for a message that indicates which key to press to enter Setup or the BIOS.
This is usually one of the Function keys (e.g., F2, F10, F12) or the Delete key. - Press the required key repeatedly until the BIOS menu appears
2. Locate and Disable Secure Boot
- Navigate the BIOS menus to find the Secure Boot option.
It is typically located under the Security, Boot, or Authentication tabs. - Change the setting from Enabled (On) to Disabled (Off).
