How to modify Client PC settings

This article shows how to modify key Reboot Restore settings locally on a PC and via our EndPoint Manager console (Enterprise edition only)

Modifying Client Settings via EndPoint Manager console

Select a PC or a group of PCs and either right-click or click on the Clients menu in the toolbar. Navigate to Advanced > Modify Client Settings. 

Modifying Client Settings from the EndPoint Manager console will overwrite your existing Client Settings. The EndPoint Manager console does not pull the existing settings into the console.

Modifying Client Settings locally on a PC

On a PC running the Reboot Restore client, double-click on the Reboot Restore icon in the Windows Notification Bar area. Enter your password.

Settings available in the Client interface

  • Restore Settings: select your preferences on when Reboot Restore will restore the PC

  • Update Baseline: configure automatically installing and updating the protected baseline with software updates such as Windows Updates and Antivirus Definitions. 

  • More Tools: include Kiosk features and other advanced options
