Where do I find the Reboot Restore log files?

applied to Reboot Restore Enterprise/Standard and Reboot Restore Rx Pro

In order to resolve certain technical issues with the installation process or otherwise, you may be asked to to retrieve log files for Reboot Restore

Please follow the instructions below

(1) Open File Explorer and navigate to the folder(s) below -- depending on what you have installed

Reboot Restore Enterprise
C:\Program Files\Reboot Restore Enterprise or 
C:\Program Files(x86)\Reboot Restore Enterprise 

Reboot Restore Standard
C:\Program Files\Reboot Restore Standard or
C:\Program Files(x86)\Reboot Restore Standard

Reboot Restore Rx Pro

C:\Program Files\Shield or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Shield 

(2) Gather the following files below
  • Trace folder (if available) 
  • setup.log
  • subconsole.log
  • 128.dat
  • shield.dat or shield.dat.bak

(3) ZIP the files together and attach to your support ticket on send to the requester
