Microsoft fixes faulty Windows updates
Posted by Samuel Smith on 28 Aug 2014

In mid-August Microsoft released several faulty updates for the Windows operating system that resulted in many users getting the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD), particularly Windows 7 64-bit users.

As of August 27 the company has apparently fixed the issue and is now re-releasing the updates (edited of course to not shut down PC's).

For those who were affected, Microsoft is now encouraging those users to download the fixed patches.
