How to disable Reboot Restore protection?
This article explains the steps to disable protection in the cases when multiple restarts are required to make permanent changes and updates to your PCs. Applies to Reboot Restore Standard and Enterprise.
From the EndPoint Manager (Enterprise edition)
With our Enterprise console, the EndPoint Manager perform this function by selecting one PC or a group of PCs you wish to disable protection. Right-click to see the Client menu > click on Turn On/Off Protection.
From command line (Standard and Enterprise editions)
Reboot Restore Standard and Enterprise include command-line switches for managing the software through batch files or network scripts via third-party endpoint management solutions using the ShdCmd.exe utility (located at C:\Program Files\Reboot Restore Standard or C:\Program Files\Reboot Restore Enterprise).
Use the following command line switches:
ShdCmd.exe /protect [enable | disable] /u administrator /p password
