I've forgotten my Reboot Restore Rx Pro / Drive Vaccine password. What should I do?

Did you forget the password for Reboot Restore Rx Pro?
We can assist you by generating a temporary password for you to be able to log in to the application.

NOTE: For validation and security, proof of purchase (i.e email address, product key) is required when requesting a temporary password. 

Follow the steps below for Password Recovery for Reboot Restore Rx Pro

1. When the PC is booting up, you will notice either a Reboot Restore Rx Pro startup or a "Loading baseline..." text message.
When this screen shows up, keep tapping the "Home" key to access the sub-console.

You will be prompted for a password. See screenshots below.



2. Press 'Alt + F1' on the login screen. This will generate a set of numbers. This is the encryption string.

3. The next step is to "Submit a ticket" along with the encrypted string retrieved, the email address used during the purchase, and the Product ID and Order information for verification. 

4. Once the ticket is submitted, technical support will verify the information and provide you with a temporary password.

5. Once you can successfully log in with the temporary password, make sure to immediately change your password through the Reboot Restore Rx Pro Application Console

- open the Reboot Restore Rx Pro Application Console (right-click tray icon > open Reboot Restore Rx Pro).
- Log in with the temporary password
- go to Tools and Settings > Settings > User Management
- select the "Administrator" account > click Properties
- type in your new password on both the Password and Confirm text box > click Change 
- your new password is set. Make sure to remember and save it. You can close and reopen Reboot Restore Rx Pro to test it
